The 8-week Jung Seminar will meet every Monday night

October 19, 2009 to December 7, 2009
7:00-9:00 p.m.
at 4510 San Juan Avenue in Port Townsend

We’ll explore what Jung said about the Anima/Animus and related topics with particular attention to his letters and largely-unread seminars where he often spoke extemporaneously in practical, human language about the Anima and Animus and how they work in us and in the world.  We’ll look at the Soul Image where it’s most visible, in everyday life, literature, music, history, and the arts. We’ll consider Jung’s most poetic statement on the mystery of “love” and why, at its deepest level, no one can explain or presume to know what it is.
This will be a multi-media event—with film clips (of Jung and others), music, and readings from the love letters of
Charlotte Brontë and Henry VIII.
